ORNARIS AWARD
8TH ORNARIS AWARD - AUGUST 2026
The ORNARIS AWARD was presented for the 8th time on August 16, 2026. The jury, consisting of Michel Hueter (Co-founder & Co-Managing Director of Kaiserhaus OF GOODS), Fabienne Bissig (Coordinator / Specialist for Manufactur and unik, Schlossgarten Riggisberg AG), and Erich Geisser (CEO of Changemaker AG), was particularly impressed by these three exhibitors:
3rd place: BADEN GmbH
BADEN occupies one of the largest areas of the trade fair, transforming it into far more than a traditional exhibition stand: a complete pavilion with diverse interior environments. The carefully curated product displays are organized by theme and material and largely self-explanatory. At the same time, veritable living and lounge spaces are created – from a bistro to a cozy seating area where customers can enjoy refreshments from the bar. The spacious and consistent design creates an inviting world where products, interaction, and hospitality blend seamlessly.
2nd place: bonacker ballonversand GmbH
Bonacker ballonversand GmbH impressively demonstrates how focusing on a key product with a distinct USP can lead to a powerful trade fair presence. The numerous product variations are presented clearly and simultaneously become part of the scenography itself: colors and motifs unfold like an open fan in the room. The displays echo the materiality and design language of the packaging, which serves as a product, communication, and brand vehicle all at once. The result is a visual spectacle that radiates joy while simultaneously exuding calm, clarity, and strength.
1st place: Gärtnerhaus Foundation
The Gärtnerhaus Foundation demonstrates, even in a small space, how careful design can create a strong and distinctive world. The space is optimally utilized and, despite the diverse product ranges, feels clear, airy, and natural. Warm, natural materials, good lighting, and a consistent design signature – from the back wall to the product names – create a personal and cohesive aesthetic. The deliberate avoidance of over-displaying the product variations is particularly impressive. The warmth, lightness, and quality inherent in the products themselves are thus palpable at every level of the presentation.
7th ORNARIS AWARD - January 2026
The ORNARIS AWARD was presented for the 7th time on January 11, 2026. The jury, consisting of Yvonne Schreier (Visual Merchandiser & Interior Designer, owner of ys raumgestaltung), Erich Geisser (CEO of Changemaker AG), and Daniela Iff (Co-Founder/Owner of No. 39 tell me stories (Conceptstore & Bistro), Assistant Head of Visual Merchandising at PKZ), was particularly impressed by these three exhibitors:
3rd place: Gry & Sif
Gry & Sif 's presentation conveys a harmonious overall atmosphere, where the concept and materials perfectly complement the product. The friendly welcome contributes to the positive impression. Despite the wide variety of products, the exhibition appears cohesive and well-structured, supported by a very professionally chosen display selection.
2nd place: Looplabb BV
Looplabb BV 's booth concept convincingly and harmoniously implements the product color scheme. The customer service is attentive and positive, while the visual merchandising is professionally and attractively designed. The models are clearly structured and prominently displayed, with the new products prominently featured.
1st place: PanoramaKnife GmbH
PanoramaKnife GmbH 's presentation impressed with a bold, cohesive color scheme and a clear, easily recognizable brand presence. The friendly booth staff and the clearly presented product ranges created an inviting overall impression. The new product was clearly highlighted thanks to the booth design, while existing products were also presented carefully and attractively.
